Simply divide your hair into sections and sprinkle 1 or 2 teaspoons of sea salt onto your scalp. Massage with wet fingers for about 10 minutes, then wash as you normally would. This will not only get rid of those annoying flakes, but will also absorb any excess oil in your hair, which will prevent it from becoming greasy. Because all the moisture will be sucked away, sea salt will also stop fungal growth.
Have you noticed your hair thinning lately? You can also use sea salt for hair growth! It revitalizes the follicles and increases blood circulation in the scalp, which stimulates growth.

In fact, many high-end salons use sea salts in their exfoliating treatments; however, make sure you pay attention the grade of sea salt being used to do this. It shouldn’t have rough or sharp edges, as this could cause damage and redness to your skin. Make sure to rub gently in circular motions.
You can also use sea salt as a natural detoxifier, as it absorbs toxins from the skin. Make a paste from sea salt and water, apply to your skin for one minute, then massage off gently in the shower. Voila! Your skin will be detoxified!
