Many soaps and facial cleansers have harsh chemicals that can actually dry out and damage your skin. Using garlic is an all-natural and safe alternative. Garlic contains allicin, which has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties that act as a cleanser to help treat acne and other skin conditions (Livestrong). Try rubbing a thin layer of garlic paste onto your face and rinsing it off after about 15 minutes, following up with a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated.
