The acai berry comes from the Amazon and is commonly consumed in Brazil. It contains a variety of antioxidants, polyphenols, and flavonoids, as well as omega fats, trace minerals, and essential nutrients.
Antioxidant-rich foods, like acai, support skin, brain, and heart health. So fire up the blender for this satisfying breakfast bowl!
Acai Bowl Recipe
Ingredients:
1 frozen acai pack (unsweetened)
1 banana (frozen)
1 cup blueberries (frozen)
¾ cup coconut water
2 cups butter lettuce or baby spinach (optional)
3 Tbsp. hemp seeds
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 Tbsp. coconut manna
TOPPINGS (Choose 3 favorites)
Sliced strawberries
Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Diced mango
Sliced banana
Dried coconut flakes
Dried Goji Berries
Cacao Nibs
Nuts
Seeds
Instructions:
Place all superfood smoothie bowl ingredients in a Nutribullet or blender, and blend on high until smooth. Pour into a bowl. Top with your favorite toppings.
